Sims Custom Shop Warning !

Have not posted for a while. Everything was more or less quiet since Patrick Sims was banned on pretty much every message board, but it seems that he somehow acquired Jeremy’s LGM Guitars Name. With that he started registering on pretty much every forum he was banned , and started posting like nothing ever happened.. Some people figured it out like the folks on sevenstring and kicked him right away. Good for you guys. I hope the other Board Mods and admins are as consequent as the folks at sevenstring.

So , new name, same old Pat Sims, or LGM, or Neosporinme or whatnot

Looks like Sims is back and using an old ebay account to sell bodies on ebay. Ebay account name is neosporinme .  Feedback is 21 positives, except only one of them is as a seller.. BTW someone send me some pictures of one of these bodies. All over the guitar forum world are posts popping up from people who seem to register ONLY to review a Sims guitar which they got recently.

Like this guy scorpdude , whos real name is Tony.  He actually posted the same review on at least 3 boards on which he was not a member before. He lets people know how happy he is and all…  just got his Guitar back, and it turned out great.  Problem is that Tony waited 16 month for a yellow guitar with 2 black stripes, and not too long ago posted on HC that he notified the BBB and also the Courts. He complained about  parts had been lost, and that Sims told him twice the guitar shipped and it never happened….and so on.

That was back on September 1st….but now all is different because he got his yellow guitar. On Sept 10.  And he feels the need to tell the world about how Patrick handled himself the last 2 days., even calling him and all.  Stand up guy.

I myself  however wonder how much of a discount you guys have gotten to go out of your way to register, and post lengthy reviews and all. The people on various boards figured out quickly that it was all nicely set up and Sims admitted that he had asked people to post some good reviews for once  Nice try . On the plus side he is not telling them what to type. They can do that by themselves.

After some heated debate with a couple clients and insulting a mod (you owe me an apologie Shannon) Sims is banned from Sevenstring.org

Official note  : Patrick has been shown the back door from Sevenstring.org and won’t be posting here anymore. Ban Reason: too much drama with customers, poor customer service and poor communication.

Nothing  unexpected really.  I will try to get in contact with the peeps involved to get some feedback.

After the recent plethora of negative ebay feedback about Patrick Sims of Sims Custom Shop, his ebay accounts seem to be gone. Maybe someone can let me know what happened  Both of his accounts seem to be not accessible anymore. I assume he is just getting some fresh start ?  Understandable.  All those rude pesky people buying stuff and than wanting it withing 5 weeks….  poor guy.

I’m from Germany and I’ve been fooled by Patrik Sims too. After several mails I bought a custom JEM body on ebay. After I paid with Paypal (lucky me) nothing happened for about 5 weeks. I wrote several mails to him and finaly I got an answer that he was on holiday. He promised me to send the tracking information to me by Thursday, but again, nothing happend. After I did a claim on Paypal this guy woke up and send me the tracking information the next week. I got the JEM body today. The product is good but the toughts about my nearly lost money are still in my head.

I hardly recommend everyone out there who would like to buy something from Patrick Sims to calculate a long (!!!) shipping period. And my advice to everyone out there: PAY WITH PAYPAL. That’s your only possibility to get your money back when he don’t ship anything to you. This guy is a crook and I’ll never deal with him again. I paid my dues even I got the JEM body.

Looks like the sevenstring.org people are slowly starting to figure it out. Recent Posts indicate that wait times seem to get longer, phone calls and emails not being answered. And than as always they get blamed for calling to often or writing too much. BUT… you don’t deserve it any better. It’s not that there is no info on Patrick Sims of Sims Custom Shop is out there. If you keep buying hist stuff…..thats what you deserve.

Also check out the recent ebay feedback of 5 negs in one month. Thats almost a record. Time to change your ebay name…again
